What he did say is he would stop deportations, and framed trump as racist. and he said he would increase refugee intake, again a minor point of his platform. He certainly was not bragging about white people being a minority as a good thing on the major stage. Only people who follow politics deeply like us are even aware of that. Most average americans are ignorant.

The very first ad I saw was a lesbian couple, the next 5 ads which featured families were all mixed race families. There was not 1 single normal white family in the hours I watched
