1 Thessalonians 5:14-19
- Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16. Rejoice evermore. 17. Pray without ceasing. 18. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19. Quench not the Spirit.
Obviously, I know social media can be. I just sent a text via major national carrier with a link to a friend discussing some oddities at the Capitol. We discovered he never got the link but all my messages around it.
Some of our ancestors tracked across a difficult terrain facing enemies and elements to settle this blessed new land. They fought for freedom from the Crown, giving up their lives and their fortunes.
Others left their native countries, their families, everything familiar in search of an opportunity that only WE can provide.
They shed blood in the foxholes of France and fought on Christmas in Bastogne. They faced imminent death in the jungles of the south pacific and in Korea. They fought in Vietnam and came home to be spit on and you are giving up because Trump didn't save YOU? Because you have to wait? Because you believe in a plan?
Our American blood is deeper and stronger because we were built on Freedom and Liberty and we should be thanking God and talking about it with everyone we meet.
We are Americans. The first modern government to recognize that our rights are endowed by OUR CREATOR and NOT by our Government.
This is the start. Not the end.
Rise up or get out of the way.
