It isn't necessary to critisise one in order to praise the other. Both look just fine to me.
Indeed. Real women should show up to events and refuse to perform. Throw everything and let the trans win by default. Don't give unqualified competitors the satisfaction of any competition. Take a knee for actual oppression.
I'm continuing with President-Select.
At this point I more believe that some were allowed to speak out against the fraud to give the appearance of some pushback so that conservatives would continue to have some hope and trust in the system. Theater.
Cancelled books are quickly picked up by another publisher and easily double or triple previously estimated sales. All part of the new marketing strategy in the look at me age. The publishers are in on it.
Even Star Trek DS9 goes out of it's way to make sure we all know how oppressed Sisko's ancestors were. He's allowed to be righteously angry about people he never knew, apparently suffering who knows what.
The very Irish O'Brien and his Japanese wife Keiko don't get any ancestor oppression righteousness. Even weirder, the Indian-British doctor and O'Brien are great friends with nary a backstory on Monarchical colonization, ethnic cleansings, or the nearly constant conflict and war for centuries between those groups.
Apparently, even in the future, Sisko's multi-quadrant experiences with alien cultures, or even the occupation and murder of millions of the Bajorans whose space station he runs and whose prophets he speaks to, isn't enough to mature his character enough to drop the folklorish faith of somehow being oppressed.
Have they caught the attacker? How is it known that it was a leftist? Or that is was personally motivated? Could it have been a random drunk or meth head?
We should try to know all the facts first before drawing conclusions or reacting. So far it looks like reporting repeating reporting. I'll wait to see a police report or a public statement from her with details that confirm political leanings of her attacker.
Since I don't believe in the existence of races, it's easy enough to claim racial fluidity. Whatever the situation demands, or whichever is the greatest benefit at any given time.
I've spent most of my life leaving the race box empty on forms, but with the computer age, some won't let you proceed without checking a box. So I check them all.
Aspie huh? Dealing with liars and inconsistencies and uncertainty is an agonizing mental battle that is daily challenging. Adapting to quickly changing realities is excruciating.
But because of my faith, and my study of history, I know and cling to the knowledge that justice in this world is elusive and sporadic. I accept that it won't make sense and it won't be fair. Standing up for right cannot fail in this context so it's an empowering philosophy for me.
I feel that way too. Mostly because the uncertainty of what would happen in Congress is over. Now that I know where everyone stands, it's easier.
I lived through the Obama years. It was horrible. But I had my family and a purpose and I became more resilient and determined.
If the Obama years explains the unexpected rise of Trump, who will rise after Biden/Harris years? There's always hope.
This scenario would be a long time coming IMO.
America is obscenely rich and incredibly generous.
We will carpool. We will share the extra bicycles we have laying around in our sheds. We will share food stocks with our neighbors and convert our lawns to victory gardens.
I think, if it all just went away, there would probably be an epic one month meltdown then everyone would just get on with life. People are both easily bored and highly adaptable.
While it remains, it's hard to be out of the loop when eshewing tech but eventually, the cream of people in your life adapt to your preference. It's a clarifying experience.
There are plenty of alternatives to aquire needed goods. Thrift and antique stores. Yard sales. Craigslist. Ask family, neighbors, and friends. Learn to repair things and shop curbside. Share, don't buy.
Start your own lending library co-op group for media, tools, and toys. Barter with others for items and services.
Haha! I was wondering, with the laws in place for telephone companies, if landline fax machines would be a good option for communications. People could sign up to a list the way email newsletters worked and get a daily update from a designated gatherer.
Study the movements and actions of other oppressed peoples throughout history. Don't look merely at what got a response or the appearance of success. Look at all efforts to resist and protest. Many gain in a psychological or emotional way even without any obvious victory. These actions are important as they strengthen morale and resolve.
One thing is for sure. People need to stop responding to the Left's messaging and fighting on their terms. The fight isn't against BLM or Antifa or even the fraudulent election or Biden or Chyna or any other triggering controversy they wave around next. It's against evil itself. It's against injustice and oppression. This should be a pure human rights movement from now on.
You can only run away from a hoard of locusts for so long. One day they will swoop down from their urban centers and take everything you have and make you a slave laborer on your own land.
Well the good thing about that is they'll soon only have themselves to be nasty to. Let them fight each other.
It just feels like saying "That wasn't real communism."
Social sites seem to start with good intentions, the begin removing the inevitable malicious trolls, then creep into shaping the entire site into their own echo chambers.
Total and sustained free speech on the internet? I'll believe it when I see it.
The problem with any platform is that absolute free speech isn't desirable, as he indicates himself by alluding to the vicious speakers on current platforms. Would those users be banned from joining or posting at a new platform? If so then a new would the same as the old in regards to preferred speech, not free speech. Twitter and FB are hypocritical jerks, but the free speech argument isn't going to hold up anywhere in absolute terms.
The Right doesn't fear what the left has to say. We don't block.
Makes the power move to accept the votes of the alternates all the sweeter when you can do it to their faces.
People who think liking something on social media and "raising awareness" to a topic is somehow better than what Christians have been doing for thousands of years.
People who never really listened to or really watched the lives of Christians are mistaken in their conviction that Christians have not been on the forefront of medical and compassionate care, refugee programs and aid to global injustices, transparency in government and accountability for public workers, and the equal and just treatment for all of God's creations.
We were first. You just weren't paying attention.
I don't get why our side would be the seceders. We're upholding the Constitution. Makes more sense to sanction and threaten to expel the errant states. Then all the Patriots in those errant states can overthrow their corrupt reps and install Patriots to preserve their state in the Union.
CO. Nobody is taking down their flags and signs.
On a side note, has anyone else noticed the yards with Trump flags are also putting up the most lights and seasonal decor?
The more these psychos try to imply righteousness to their side, the more convinced I am of the serpent's hold on their souls.
Many alt diet people choose the diet because they're loony. Others get loony or loonier on it.
Personally, being veg/vegan has helped my health, especially with better digestion, sleep, and lung function.
