The best way to combat bad ideas or books is to write good ideas in good books. Book burning is a horrible that being said it is important to take seriously any call to violence and speak out against horrible human rights abuses. People supporting sexual abuse would be ashamed if they where exposed because they know it is wrong. Germany was currupt during the early 1900s largely due to people not (or not allowed to by government) speaking out against the sick currupt gov practices. It is the suppression of thoughts and ideas that leads to curruption and it is the curruption that leads to oppression. The oppression cycles back to the suppression. In order to brake the cycle freedom of speech is required to counteract the indoctrination, propoganda, and lies. Book burning starts the cycle transparency ends the cycle.
