That’s for the insightful answer! I currently work with software (but I don’t code or program) and have a really good understanding of how programming and software “work” so decided to pursue it more as I have experience with programming and find it interesting. I was looking into robotics, sensors, etc. chip design would be really cool but tbh, getting an EE degree* really wouldn’t work as I don’t really want to give up a good job to pursue that full time. Also I feel a large majority of EE gigs are onsite and I’m not particularly looking to re-locate.
