I think people want to stay dumb and take whatever they need to remain that way. We witnessed a lot of propaganda this last year, more than ever, and it was dissonant and hypocritical at best. People ate it up anyways. I sense a lot of desperation from the people behind the curtain. We lost a battle, because they cheated, but we are winning the war. People just have to keep up. I think they are just like us and that they are afraid.

It's more likely that the media just goes with what is beneficial to their little empire. Project looking glass is a cool little conspiracy, it's fun to talk about, but to actually apply it to our current state of affairs is IMO ridiculous(Or maybe not helpful). I stopped paying attention to regular news a long time ago. COVID just reinforced it early on when I tried to get info and they had a stock market crawl of deaths. I got the message pretty quick again.
I didn't even know they were pulling the new strain BS in the USA already. Our governor(NC) had labs sending back a certain amount of negative tests each week so that we couldn't open up, and that was months ago.
