To be fair, I guess it's the "liberals" who misuse the term, not you. I apologize for that. But I guess I find it important to point out the fallacy since this is how the left fools people, as too many people focus on labels without thinking what those labels actually mean. I'm part of the Walk Away movement, so for me that involved a lot of thinking about what I truly value, and how I describe that. I value liberty and the God-given rights of the individual. At the same time, I'm not too hung up on tradition (I celebrated this recent Thanksgiving by eating deep dish pizza instead of turkey KEK). So I still identify as liberal. However, I do recognize that normies (and some Pedes) would view me as conservative. As an example, on dating apps I would put my politics as "conservative."
Perhaps there will come a day when I would prefer to label myself as a conservative. I think liberals and conservatives have much in common. I see a rejection of socialism, cultural Marxism, and identity politics as what unites us, especially behind President Trump. I just put a stronger emphasis on liberty than tradition in my values. I agree with conservative on here that the nuclear family should be the building block of our country and I'm pretty keen on the pro-life message. But, I think these should be cultural movements, not something that the governments gets to legislate and regulate on.
In summation, it's just nerd stuff KEK. But nerd shit is my thing. Some Pedes I guess are like me and are more into the intellectual reasons behind our MAGA movement and why we love President Trump. Others are like you, ready for action like a Proud Boy brawler and don't need to get weighed down by the details AKA the nerd shit. Both have their place. God didn't build me to a bare-knuckle brawler like the Proud Boys so I guess it's nerd stuff for me while I try to bulk up and fill out my frame so at least I can say I do my best to be physically ready for any fight and be responsible for my health and well-being.

Do these cowards have any sort of clout or purchasing power? I occasionally provide Google reviews of small businesses when the owners asks me to leave them. The unbelievable lies that some lunatics say about these businesses is bullshit to people like me who know that these businesses and their owners are great and offer quality services and products. I will always support my favorite businesses by writing reviews straight from the heart and giving perfect ratings to outshine the liars and haters. I don't know if it helps, but I don't think it hurts to spread a kindness in this unfair world =)

The best thing I can of think of that decade is that we were an economic powerhouse that was rebuilding the world. Not like today where we are relying too much on the developing world and China to prop up our consumer culture.
I ain't throwing in the towel. Socialist = valuing equality. Liberal = valuing liberty. Conservative = valuing tradition. There is overlap between liberal conservative. Socialist is more isolated, especially when the focus is equality of outcome.
