Most people can since in all of Europe you learn from a young age English in school. Only the rural areas and elderly can't, but obviously they have their own language as the primary one.
They're actually doing a good job with that, Sweden is cucked to hell but Norway is not part of the European Union because they're too prosperous they have a high GDP per capita and know it would make no sense to be propping up the poorer countries. Not being part of the EU means they have restricted borders and don't have to follow refugee quotas.
Also Norway has an awesome Sovereign Investment Fund that I LOVE the idea of. It's got over $1trillion USD value. Worth $200k per citizen. You know how America is trillions in debt to China so to pay for things we print money or raise taxes. In Norway they pooled all the oil money into an enormous investment fund it's basically a National hedge fund, the interest earns so much they can pay for shit for their citizens without having to raise taxes or print money.
The population is very similar to Asian countries, in terms of it being nearly an entirely homogeneous culture most people are Catholic, white, conservative, etc. So having a strong culture with the same values means you have a highly nationalistic society that rejects foreign infiltration. Hungary is beautiful as well I've visited there a few times.
But make no mistake about it, Eastern Europe is not a prosperous place. Salaries are lower taxes are higher, the quality of life overall in terms of people living in poverty and using drugs or alcoholics are pretty bad.
But if you're middle class in the US you can live upper class lifestyle there.
In terms of quality of life I'd say Norway, Switzerland, Singapore have the best, and they all have in common a strong nationalist identity they have socialized health care but only for citizens and they make the path to citizenship extremely difficult. I'd actually be in favor of socialist policies like that if you deported all the leaches all illegals and welfare leaches who don't actually work or look for a job.
America could support that sort of system easily without illegals and Democrats funneling taxpayer money into their pockets.

I'm probably additionally jaded since I volunteer in campus recruiting for the Fortune 50 company I'm at, they literally set targets like 50% of offers need to be to females. I WORK IN IT!! 90% OF APPLICANTS ARE MALE! lmao but 50% of the hires are female. Same with our race goals they set targets on Black and Hispanics based on offers and hires.
I proposed in a recruiting meeting once, "hey guys, why don't we set our recruiting goals and targets to be get 10% of overall APPLICANTS to be latino, 20% black, etc, not the actual hires. That way we can know our recruiting efforts are actually working like we're advertising to those demographics and seeing them apply more, and it's more fair we don't just give them a job to hit our hiring target. Everyone looked at me like they had never heard of such a thing before. Probably just a coincidence that half our recruiting team is black.

I was raised Catholic but kinda strayed and stopped praying and going to Church as an adult. This election has me praying for the first time in years. This will quite literally decide every American's future it's the biggest election in our history and so many people are docile and placated and saying Biden won because Trump is a meanie. This is bigger than that typical political bullshit it will determine the world future generations grow up in. Freedom or a communist dictatorship with no free elections ever again.
