I don't have any Aldi's near me so I don't quite understand their business model, but I've heard its cheap too maybe their plan is to draw people in on groceries and charge elsewhere, I'm curious where they make their profit. The company I work for kinda hates costco but loves them too lol they sell the most product but totally fuck profit by selling on such steep discount. Aldi doesn't have such bulk sales yet manages to stay cheap I wonder how they do it

I fully agree with you, but I must admit if Trump concedes and just lets China take over our country this will be the most heartbreaking event in my life. More than any breakups, more than a friend's death, I just don't know what I'll do with myself if Trump doesn't prevail. Just trying to keep faith it works out

Costco is my favorite example of Retail Big Box stores treating their employees amazingly. Whenever I mentor young people who work crappy minimum wage jobs I ask how close the nearest Costco is and have they applied yet. $15 an hour before it was a trendy socialist gimmick, I assume they'll raise it even higher if the McDonalds and Walmart trained monkeys start making that much for no effort. On Sundays they pay time and a half regardless of if it's overtime or not. So you could be a student and just work Sundays and make $22 an hour, which is crazy good for that age. Anyways employees there are always overly enthusiastic and nice, you really see the difference

You do have to be actually good at your job to work there though, especially if you want Sunday hours. They grade their employees off how many members they can get to upgrade, that's like the sales qualifier and being a good people person.

oof the amount of shit you can catch walking around barefoot in such a highly trafficked store.. like I actually understand nature barefooting it's kinda nice going on a hike and feeling the earth, but walmart barefoot man that's toxic

lol that time frame was pretty much what I heard as well. god it must suck there I thought my company was bad with rat race bullshit but you hear stories about Amazon and it makes you grateful to not be there

we actually had the dude who invented Amazon Web Services (it's like 80% of their profit these days and minimal cost) do a keynote speach at our company, I will admit they have fucking brilliant people there and they clearly reward the best of the best very well, it's like capitalism taken to an extreme within company culture just pay the guys who deliver well a ton then penny pinch on everything else and benefits/luxuries. Also unrelated but Coca Cola pays like ass, they have a ton of corporate benefits to distract you from the fact that your salary is 30% less than what you get elsewhere. Amazing facilities though so it's sorta another case of when you're at the top in company hierarchy you get huge pay and the office pool, gaming room, free espresso etc

I went to Walmart for the first time in a few years a couple days before Christmas Eve since some plans changed I needed a last minute gift and it was 30mins closer than the next store,

My goodness the level of apathy in those employees no one gives a shit about the place everyone working walks like a zombie and the shelves are a terrible mess, I got a toy and at checkout this dude just cut in front of me without saying anything I let it go since he seemed unhinged not worth the fight, but damn what a terrible place.

They treat their employees that way too. I work in the data science field so I'm talking the corporate white collar jobs not even the warehouses where it's much worse. Pretty much everyone I know with experience there hated it, it's kinda similar to Tesla where you get top notch engineers looking to build their resume and put up with stupid amounts of hours for the meager pay, everyone tries to hold out long enough to get stock vested but many burn out after a year. With Tesla their passion keeps them going, but with Amazon it's just a soulless grind imo

Very efficient with their human resources too is all I'm saying

All true, yet I actually prefer it to someone like Obama who is charismatic as all hell enough to convince everyone he was a good President while destroying the country. A snake oil salesmen is apparent, it's obvious Pence isn't exactly trying to schmooze people to like him, which gives me a certain amount of trust for him.

yea exactly I'm not trying to get a selfish and weak kid by them having a mother that's like that, aka most white liberal women these days

ChinaVirusBigly 8 points ago +11 / -3

lol that's actually what I'm doing, not like it's intentional just happened to click most with a Cambodian American after pretty much all of my exes were annoying liberal white chicks. They're so brainwashed in college these days it was exhausting trying to redpill them all the time, I succeeded with a couple but that was only after they matured post breakup once they're older than 25 and realized I was right about Trump all along. Under 25 which is the only age I'd want to start dating a girl, they're too full of themselves still and close minded.

It's nice with an Asian girl who came from a poor upbringing she's more humble/loyal/moldable in opinions and doesn't have this annoying rebellious need to argue that white lib girls have they all think they're the savior of black people who are too stupid to think for themselves so they have to be this justice warrior, they reap all the benefits of female privilege and still make themselves the victim in every situation.

Feels so relaxing being in a healthy dynamic after the hellish nightmare that is liberal women. I'm worried if I have a boy he'll have no options for a healthy relationship and if I have a girl she'll be a crazy liberal brainwashed slut with all the peer and cultural pressure these days. Modern America has really fucked over the youth and their dating prospects.

In every position of power you'd be called a fool to not rely on the people around you who you appoint and trust to handle their shit. Trump learned this in the private sector, you have to do your best to determine the most loyal capable option and then just let them do their job.

Both Trump and Pence can't be everywhere at once it's simply not possible you have to trust your people. Ultimately yes many of their appointments failed but they had no other option, it's not their fault that snakes and lobbyists are seducing every single staffer with bribes or threats as soon as they are even indirectly connected to Trump.

This isn't the Mafia you can't just have a blood oath and murder anyone disloyal, if someone is disloyal the best they can do is fire them after the damage is already done. If we were a dictatorship of course they could murder or lockup anyone who flips, but that's literally the only way to avoid deep staters you'd have to go full authoritarian and that's not the country we live in. Unfortunately these staffers have freedom to turn on our President and there's not much you can do after the fact. I do think many were loyal initially then the deep state compromises them and they're fucked.

No doubt he probably had offers of hundreds of millions to stab Trump in the back, and has had his family safety threatened constantly. A true man of God staying loyal to the President who trusted him to the fullest.

Bernie would have conceded Nov 7th while they were still finding votes for Biden, and bought his next additional vacation home by now.

Your employer should have a payment page. Most corporations have a payment website where you can change your address, download your W2, view your last paycheck etc. There's an option there for me to adjust. Talk to your HR if you don't know where to do it, I work for a big company I'm guessing the smaller ones may have HR handle things manually.

I've been claiming 7 for years and I only end up owing a bit less than a grand at the end of the year, but it gave me about $500 a month of extra cash upfront, so I recommend upping your allowances to everyone.

UN is hilariously weak. America has been the world's military for far too long. They'd shit their pants at the idea of having to fight us

2
ChinaVirusBigly 2 points ago +2 / -0

That vid he tweeted of fight for America... my God he gave us the command. We have his full allegiance and power to fight for America

Reading about how that's 100% real was a bit scary. CIA has a device they could covertly walk past anyone and trigger a heart attack and no one would know any different.

dude are you retarded I was very obviously joking lol woosh I thought it's so massively obvious and comical that his grandson wouldn't have cigs it wouldn't need a /s. No one is that stupid to actually think cigs are more likely than the obvious real answer of chocolate

That's exactly how it is in China, the more wealth and power you have is directly correlated with how much you suck the CCPs dick and do exactly what the party lines state. "Independent business" being impossible there meaning no middle class to spring up. That's why they are capable of advancing certain technology and policy so quickly, they have one ruling hand guiding the direction continuously whereas we have a government squabbling in gridlock forever and clearing house every 4 years.

China is especially scary in the biomedical/genetics space as we've seen with their bioweapon Covid, they can have their entire scientific community organized behind a common goal and they don't share out open source any of there research, it's very possible they've already developed something with Covid's contagiousness and the deadliness of something like Ebola, this was just a test run to see how effective it would be.
