I sympathize with your worry about that, but look at it this way...the dems REALLY have been in power for over 100 years. Think of Eisenhower and Reagan as outliers and the Bushs as phonies. This thing we're experiencing now is the largest political realignment since the early 1900s. The hopelessness you're feeling is due to the conditioning.
