I first came across him filling in for Neil Boortz. Back when I was young and poor. It was thier message of if you are poor it's your fault and you need to fix it that finally sank in. I was poor, it was my fault, and I needed to fix it.

Now I am not rich, and in my career I never will be. But I will take my 75K over my old 22K everyday.

The US Civil War was fought over slavery. If you don't believe me then go read the words of the secessionist legislatures themselves. There are 13 secession ordinances and they all mention slavery as to why they are leaving and not much else.
