The simple explanation: people here are grasping at straws, fantasizing that Mike Pence is going to assert a very aggressive reading of his elector “counting” role to upend all the elector certifications and count whichever electors he wants. By this reading, the current VP gets to decide who the next President is, which I very much doubt the Founding Fathers had in mind. They are hoping he’ll do this even though every branch of government has declined all invitations to challenge the election, so he’d be acting alone, very exposed personally. Assertion of such a power will lead either to his arrest and incarceration (or execution), Civil War or possibly both. Mike Pence strikes me as a fairly rational guy with ambitions beyond being Trump’s “go for” boy, so I wouldn’t bet on this happening.
This is correct. The voting error in Antrim County, Michigan was discovered a day or 2 after the election and corrected, although it does look like the recent audit found some more Trump votes.
People are posting this like they just found something new to stir the pot, or because they’re just ignorant as to what has happened.
It is significant as Antrim shows how the Dominion software can be easily used by poll workers to transfer votes between candidates. The result is most likely the result of a very large batch of votes being adjudicated with figures mixed up and Biden being awarded Trumps totals. Antrim only was discovered because the results being reported were patently absurd — a solid red county reported as going at high majorities for Biden.
It means a more populous county like Wayne County could have large numbers of votes shifted without arising suspicion.
Really all counties using Dominion software should have a thorough audit of their adjudicated ballots at a minimum. It would be nice if they checked signatures on the mail ballot envelopes too.
What do I need to demonstrate. Lin Wood is tweeting out an outrageous claim — that he has a recording of John Roberts discussing how to prevent Trump from winning re-election.
