Nobody forced him to take it. A lot of pilots didn’t. Air Force vets have some weird fetish with doing whatever the government tells them

Good, let it collapse. You don’t heal a cancerous tumor by keeping it

Always buy the dip. If it completely crashes, you’ve got bigger fish to fry than worrying about fiat currency

Why would they want to interrupt their best inadvertent asset?

Thick vegetation defeats all optics. Bad weather defeats all optics. Do with that what you will

Again, this is answered by relative forces. Just read the comments tearing this guy apart. You can go buy a ticket on any plane, rent one with an instructor, or get your cert. the idea the earth spins below the plane at 1,000 mph is retarded

There’s no other possible answer, unless you’re thinking of something else. That atmosphere travels with the ground relative to the spin of the globe. If I take off, I’m moving at the same speed as the spin of the earth, along with everything else. The only time the effect you’re talking about comes into play is the slight difference caused by the Coriolis force, where the equator has to spin faster than northern Canada to cover the same distance. This can cause drift, which is accounted for by adjusting magnetic heading. It’s not 1,000 mph. If you don’t believe me, rent a plane sometime and plan a flight.

No, my reading comprehension is fine. You’re the one that missed it. The air is also traveling at the same relative speed because of surface friction. The globe is not freely spinning underneath the air.

Easy. Surface friction means that air isn’t stationary as the globe speeds around underneath it. Want proof? Look at air currents. Air masses that travel from the poles to the equator begin to fall behind the spin as the friction begins to catch up. Moving away from the equator towards the poles, you move faster than the relative air/spin of the globe as friction catches up. Done it thousands of times. Air currents are also effected by the uneven heating of earths surface, which is why geostationary balloons are impossible. Air is always moving.

Well… as a pilot, I’ve got bad news. You can see the curve in flight. Geostationary balloons are impossible. Air currents will knock them off course.

So everything they kvetch about is the truth. What a hilarious backfire

The founders didn’t get things going until after the enemy had already started actively hunting and killing them on top of stationing soldiers in their homes, for years. Don’t get me wrong, they were and remain fantastically brave men, but let’s not pretend they snapped at the first sign of tyranny and started blasting. Even after everything they put up with that eventually made them choose to fight, a LOT of their own countrymen turned their backs and actively worked with the English. Most people are servile cattle that will not take up the cause of liberty. They will gladly be oppressed little debt slaves if they’re told to be

Prayers, positive feelings, good energy, sending it all your way. There are many people in the community here that are happy to help, because we understand a strong community can soften these hard blows life gives us. Take some time, pray, do whatever you need to do. I’m very sorry this happened

Duh, there’s no lineage examination and it gets you preference in jobs and school for X marks the spot in a couple of circles. You’d be a fool to not, and they can’t do shit about it either.

These things take time. British soldiers were put in American households before the revolution. We’re at the point where it’s entering the mainstream consciousness that there’s really no benefit to the federal government. We also don’t have a group of strong leaders calling us to action. What’s one lone man going to do? Shoot up a democrat election hq and go to prison forever?

It took about 25 years from start to finish to remove the Brits. I would guess a decade or two from now we’ll have out answers
