He may have made a concession towards the CCP by his china-friendly attitude, but in doing so has been granted permission to keep the country's national identity. It's realpolitik. With a population of 9 and a half million we do not have much choice. And even then, measuring the benefits and drawbacks together, living in Hungary sounds like a better option to me than living in the USA - right now, it looks like your disadvantages outnumber your advantages.

Our election system is safer than the Central Bank - only citizens can vote after their personal details are matched with a central database and you have to show your personal ID and your address ID cards. Paper ballots only.

We also have extreme vetting, used prison labor to build triple razorwire fencing on the southern border and assign soldiers to patrol it. Orbán has made it a criminal act for NGOs to aid and abet migrants, has used the slogans "Nekünk Magyarország az első!" and "Minden élet számít" as his slogans (meaning "For us, it's Hungary First" and "All lives matter") . He built his campaign on hating soros and illegal migrants and has made dozens of laws encouraging more Hungarian children, like eliminating the income tax for people with "big families" aka 3+ children, giving couples with kids 10 million HUF free to buy housing and another 10 million as a favorable loan by the state (CSOK), and we have 3 different forms of paid family leave I don't know the details of, but they can last years. Oh and gender studies is excluded from the state-funded university courses.

The bad side is that Orbán is power-hungry and very authoritarian (like a rightwing Whitmer) and he controls most media except online news sites which have libtard majority, firearms except antique guns are all illegal, period, and he is pro-mask because he realized he can use the wuhan flu to get more power. Our police state makes it impossible to resist, Orbán definitely backs the blue. If some gypsies formed an "autonomous zone" then it would be annihilated in 10 mins by a Swat team.

With all due respect though Hungary is much more based than the USA. You grew drunk on freedom and now the enemy is in your house.
