strictly anecdotal evidence but my negative rapid test I got the results in an hour, a coworker in a different state took one of the regular tests with his wife, he got the result in a couple of days, he was negative, his wife's took another day and came back positive. He found out for that test the do the tests in a batch, if the whole batch comes back negative then you find out quicker if one test in the batch comes back positive then they have to go back and run the test on each sample then, so if anything a positive test will take longer to get the results back
