Let me tell you what I did about 10 years ago when I was in a similar spot as you are now. A friend who had been through the same shit took me to a detox center, I was in there around 3 days for medically supervised detox, that is the first step - get it all out of your system and they don't let you leave until you are totally clean. Once they released me, I then went to AA, like immediately after I left the detox place. I moved out of my apartment and changed my environment. I made cool friends with some sober people and hung with them. I went to shitloads of meetings in those early days. God willing I am still sober today. Its rough but totally doable. I had many failed attempts to quit prior to that. I am here if you need advice or inspiration, I was a pretty hard core binge drinker, it didn't seem possible to quit but if I did it you can do it.
