Wrong place to post, but I had to put my dog down this morning. He was 13, it was a good long life for a cocker-spaniel, but I can't stop grieving. I'm trying to stay strong for my wife and then I just collapse in privacy. So I'm sharing here. I need nothing from any of you, I just need to vent. by le_destroy

It sucks..we have put down 2 dogs (age 13 and 15) and 2 cats (age 17 & 18) in the last 3 years. Waited too long on the first...a cat...it was literally dragging itself around because legs quit working. I learned not to wait too long but its hard as hell. Peace!
