Not really. Especially for end user enterprise stuff. I deal in 3D CAD/CAM, windows based solutions are way better than Mac or Linux, a lot of that has to do with the graphics APIs developed with directx going back to the early 2000s. Mac solutions are non existent, and even as of today many Linux desktops are very big laden just getting file explorer programs to work.
There are many things that Linux is superior in, and Mac has its places too, but to say MS products always sucked is painting with a broad brush.
