That's an urban legend with no evidence. It did mean bundle of sticks, and old women who collected firewood for a living were known as "faggots". Most likely people started using it for gay men in the same way as "queen".
Boycotting is not cancel culture. Boycots target businesses, and the goal is to get those businesses to change their behavior. "Canceling" targets individuals, and the goal is to utterly ruin their lives with no hope of salvation.

In North Carolina they're rotating kids into school for one week every three weeks. During the off weeks, many parents are sending their kids to "track out centers". Shit is so retarded.

It's not about capabilities, it's about cultural values. The majority white culture values scientific thought. This is not the case with certain other cultures.
I mean, "culture" doesn't mean something is universally true in a population. We do as a culture value "rigid time schedules", but lots of people are not very punctual. We value rationality, but that doesn't mean everyone is totally rational. It's more like a set of ideals we hold, and the list looks pretty spot on except a few silly points like "bland is best."
Most likely they have the ability to change your email address and reset your password, because real people need support to do those things all the time. Put it together and they can hijack anyone's account.
Not sure if joking, but a social engineering attack is one where hackers trick a human into giving them access to the system, as opposed to traditional hacks which exploit some technical vulnerability to gain access.
I don't read it to mean that they have tools to post on behalf of users. It's entirely possible that they simply have admin tools like "change user email" and "reset user password", which are critical for IT support people, and also give malicious actors all they need to hijack other accounts.
This should be enough to show multiculturalism can't work. How can you have a functional community when half the members value things like "rigid time schedules", "work before play", and politeness, and the other half values the opposite of those?
I tried to point this out the other day and also got downvoted. Virtually nothing in the real world is 100% effective. Say masks are 10% effective and social distancing is 20% effective, then doing both would produce a greater effect. That's not to say they should be mandated, or even that minimizing the spread should be our goal.
HIPAA applies to health plans and health care providers. It doesn't apply to random people or businesses. Plus, it doesn't prevent anyone, even covered entities, from asking health questions; it only regulates how that information is kept private after it has been received.

There is a good reason for that actually, and it also applies to the left's complaints about police being treated differently than civilians.
The state represents the people, at least theoretically. An attack on state officials acting in their official capacity, is an attack on all of us. It is an attempt to corrupt or to destroy our institutions.
A violent mob outside some random guy's house is an assault on that person, and should be punished. But a violent mob outside the Attorney General's house is an assault on the justice system itself, practically an act of terrorism, and should be dealt with more swiftly and more severely than the former case.
