Don't be a dickhead. The highest paid non-management employees in my building are the wait staff by a 50% margin. Wait staff and teachers are the biggest bitches in the workforce. They always cry about money when they are making more than plenty of other people.

In my area, if wait staff is making more than 24k a year working 40 hrs a week, then they need to STFU; there are plenty of people making less than that and not complaining.

Tim, you are way too susceptible to the "appeal to authority" fallacy. Everyone you consider to be an "expert" is really just someone with a slight bit more knowledge and exp than the average person. THEY ARE ALL FALLIBLE, AND OFTEN SO.

There are ways to force them to address it:

Hit them with their own fake news tactic. Create an article about Swalwell and photoshop NYT headlines to make it look like they wrote it. Spread around social media claiming NYT made it. They would be forced to address the fake article and consequentially the issue the article is about.

Morally wrong, but effective. No wonder they keep doing it to us over and over again.

Go ahead and start collecting damning information on these companies now. If they do decide to fire people over this, you can destroy them (or at least inconvenience them) on the way out.
