Apple has long been the bastion of freedom from censorship. The 1st amendment was written to protect political dissenters so people can have a discussion about difficult subjects. That being said, doubling down and attempting to silence individuals whom have felt their voices were being silenced is only turning the heat on an already high pressure situation.
I have watched over the last few years more and more people being censored just for expressing their opinion. It started with Alex Jones and is now reaching mainstream.
What happened to the company that refused to work with the federal government in hacking iPhones used by terrorists in the shootings in California? Why are you distributing justice unfairly?
If Apple decides to go down this road and push censorship on a platform that is trying to allow an open discussion. My family and I will no longer be able to support your company. As much as it hurts that would include losing all my music and movies that I’ve purchased over many many years. If I walk away from apple I will never return, no shift in policy down the road will make me come back. Because, how could I trust you in the future if you destroy that trust now.
I ask that you remain strong in supporting the first amendment. If we cannot talk, how can we resolve our differences or just be able to vent our frustrations.

Use cash: the ultimate anonymous king, specifically when traveling. Tracking the movements of an individual using cash becomes almost impossible when other rules are applied. If one is already observation, the use of cash will only provide minor cover as to what purchases are being made. Credit/debit/gift cards generate a far longer paper trail that can be followed by the powers that be. I point out gift cards because unless you specifically purchased them using cash it will create a marker that can be used to identify you. For example, your grandma gives you as gas card for your birthday, you use it to fill up a gas can that goes you use as a weapon of some sort, investigators will see when you bought the gas on video and that you used a card. Next they learn it’s a gift card and they find out who originally purchased the gift card, they talk to your grandma and find out she gifted it to you. BAM! You match the physical appearance and the next thing you know is you’re under observation until enough evidence is against you to put you away for life. Moral of the story? Use cash.
Leave your phone at home: talk about having big brother close to you at all times. There are Two big ways phones are dangerous outside social media. 1. It is always tracking your location even if your GPS is turned off. Let me explain, this does not provide pin point location tracking but provides clues to follow up on. Remember as you drive around from city to city and down the road, cell towers have a physical distance at which they stop working. Nobody wants to be driving down the road and have a call drop because they were out of range of their home tower. Today towers and phones work together in two ways, the tower broadcasts itself into space for all devices to hear and connect too within its broadcasting range, in order for a phone to connect to the tower it must acknowledge certain things to the tower in order to gain access to the network. In order to gain access to the network one must be a paying customer, so to prove that the phone sends back to the tower it’s international mobile equipment identity (IMEI). Yes, ladies and gentlemen there broadcast into heaven is a lovely little informant that notifies any individuals with access your relative location. So if you happen to live in say Tucson, Arizona and you drive to Portland, Oregon an individual could check a location for any IMEI’s that are out of place as in, the registered owner lives far from when it’s currently being used. A quick check of social media shows you have no legitimate reason for being there and are now under suspicion. This leads me to the second part. 2. Geofence Warrants: they allow law enforcement agencies to pull all data and look for suspicious trends which can lead to more narrow warrants. This has lead to some innocent individuals being accused of terrible things just by guilt of proximity. One individual riding his bike became locked into a terrible legal battle because he rode his bike by a house in his neighborhood 3 times that was robbed and in which an elderly lady was killed as a result. Moral of the Story? Leave your phone at home.
Don’t use social media: I see this from all sides, from criminals who just robbed someone to flashing of guns, cash or drugs. Not everyone on your Facebook feed is to be trusted, in actuality how many do you actually know? Between that and new A.I. Technology designed to identify and track suspicious activity. This book/article, sharing on a feed is likely a red flag in someone’s eyes so one should be careful on how it is shared. That is to not say the information is not worth it, what’s being said is think about what you post online. Two real life examples, 1. Current protests have lead certain conservative individuals to decide to drive Kenosha in order to do who knows what. The individual in question posts a photo of themselves on Facebook with a gun and a statement about taking action if the police are defunded. First, he’s a convicted felon so owning a firearm is illegal and you just broadcast you have possession of one and intend to potentially use it. So, someone the individual knew reported him and his buddy who had made it all the way to Kenosha and then were arrested. Following my previous rules, they could have gone up there and nobody would have known anything was wrong until potentially too late. I’m not going to justify their actions as good or bad, just that careless lead to their arrest. My second example is the Facebook live problem that cropped up. People were logging into Facebook live as the commit various crimes, generally the physical or sexual assault of an unsuspecting individual. Again, showing off creates a digital paper trail for investigators to follow. This is one of the reasons, Facebook instituted a policy of trying to make people use full names or apparent nicknames. This is to better identify individuals in the event of crimes, not as the victim but as the perpetrator.
Learn to blend in: After the Columbine shooting everyone was up in arms against the trench coat mafia. Putting on a trench coat after columbine automatically raised red flags in many peoples eyes. This then puts you under suspicion, social media is searched and if something is found it is reported to authorities who may dismiss it but may also pick up a case and start looking into your details. Maybe you have nothing to hide and you prefer the style but it paints a big target on the back of your head that you don’t ant to conform. So when will mandated conformity be your breaking point? It’s far easier to blend into the current environment and get things done. Wars of the past were fought between two standing armies on a field of battle. Any veteran from Vietnam onward will tell you wars have been fought against the unknown. Often hiding in plain sight, there are many advantages to this, one is if an enemy shows up you can live to fight another day if you don’t have anything incriminating on or around you. For example, drug dealers often hide their stash near where they are dealing but never on them. When busted anymore they are always carrying an amount small enough to on be charged with possession not possession with intent to distribute.
Become Physically Fit: One that is healthy is far more capable of taking care of oneself. I often laugh watching the show Preppers were some 350 lb man expects to hike 15 miles of rough terrain to his bugout location. If an external pressure necessitated an increase in speed or stealth he or she would easily succumb to the strain and all that preparation was a waste, you might as well have spent it on booze and hookers and a have a good time before you die. If you have a family who depends on you, you owe it to them to be able to provide for them which involves being physically fit. If things hit the fan as badly as some think will happen, electronics and gasoline engines will become unreliable to support survival. Manual working of the land will be required, in the Midwest the Amish follow this view due to their religious beliefs. I’ve never met a fat Amish and never will if they maintain their independence from modern society. Moral of the story? Stay fit or get fit. Become a lone wolf: Probably the most controversial but potentially the most important of all the rules. The FBI has said finding and stopping lone wolf attacks is next to impossible unless the individual slips up in the planning and preparation phase. This slip up can be in any number of ways from telling an individual who doesn’t share your devotion to a belief or idea, for a reward in money or food. Quite often the Nazi would use food to bribe individuals in Ghettos to find trouble makes that could start a resistance. As the old German proverb says, “the belly has no conscience.” If you are not capable of acquiring the items you desire from your own skill and you must rely on another you should be very careful of their motives. How many people have been arrested for trying to acquire explosive material through others only to find out it was a sting operation to late. Most of the explosive material used and found in Afghanistan is of a homemade nature not from a manufacturer. What occurs then is the limitation of precursor materials that have no other legitimate use. For example, nitric acid serves very little purpose outside the production of explosives, hence the difficulty of acquiring such materials. So what is one to do, stop living in fantasy and make a choice of something that’s practical. Explosives are wanted because most would like to use them like microwaves, set the time and walk away. That allows you to fight another day. So I ask are you willing to die for your cause? If not then accept what happens to you as your freedoms are slowly taken and you are fed into the meat grinder of human suffering caused by those in power. We value our own life hence why mass shooting in the hundreds don’t occur on a daily basis like that which happened in Las Vegas 2017. He was successful in his moment of terror because he did not slip up prior to the execution of his plan. Nobody, even his friends expected it.
