I have been fly fishing up your way most of my life. Big Thompson Canyon is my favorite. Although haven't been up that way in a couple years.

The idea of setting up camp/occupation for however long it takes is the right mind think. This isn't your average rally. Ham radio, tent, mre for at least 7 days, shovel, sleeping bag, stoves, water bottle, water tabs/purifiers and the warmest/weather proof clothes you can get hold of. As a life long Colorado native, Im ready for the cold and what winter can bring.
Take it from an Eagle Scout, BE PREPARED for whatever this brings.

Thats just it. If you're like me its not about going with a specific job to fill but a need to be there to fill the job God fills FOR me. I don't know what the 6th will bring. I have a wife, 2 kids and a family to protect. I will be in Washington DC on the 6th doing just that.

I learned from my grandfather that there is never parking in the canyon. You park at the park where the power plant used to be and walk the river till your spent. Best times of my life in that river. I was born two days after the Big Flood that took that power plant out, Mom and Dad had been fishing it two days before the flood.
