I think the parade was a mixture of Amish and non-Amish. The previous post was correct in that each community makes their own guidelines.
The majority of my neighbors are Amish, and they are quite conservative, but I just spent a few days in Shipshewana, IN and the Amish there seemed to be more mainstream, and they all had Trump flags/signs.
I once saw a couple Amish boys using an ORV to chase down a runaway horse near my house. It was straight out of a movie. They pulled up next to the horse and one boy jumped onto the horse and was able to regain control.

I'm actually very familiar with Ric's family. My parents were good friends with his parents Denny and Judy.
I remember many visits to the hospital to see Denny after his liver transplant. Unfortunately, his body rejected the transplant and he passed away shortly thereafter.
Also, Ric's brother Jeff was my youth leader at church. Jeff is still a youth leader and an author.
They are just an all around great family.
