On one hand, good on them for not wanting to put up with the bullshit. On the other hand, we don't know the whole story. On top of that, haven't we all kinda been taught not to resist arrest and to follow the instructions of police officers? The officer said he was under arrest and at that point he should have been arrested and later fought them in the courts. Luckily they only threatened the use of tasers, but how many videos do we see of Americans resisting arrest and getting shot and killed for it, and we scream "they shouldn't have resisted"? I mean what's the right answer here? Resist or don't resist?

Agreed, with the caveat that we purge the disinfo first. People consistently spout disinfo that they think is correct but when you look at what is being reported it is false. (Not talking about DEBOOOONKED stuff). If you're going to push facts, ensure that they are just that.. FACTS.

I've also been a bit curious lately about the stickies. Important ones have been up for 5 -10 minutes and then removed. Other important ones, not stickied at all (or maybe I missed that 10 minute window). Can a mod explain why that is happening?

Ive seen 3 posts with the petition so far when browsing through New and none of them have been stickied that I have seen. Not sure why that is.
