It started with Obamacare, where vast numbers of people in CA were added to the MediCAL roles. Once they were introduced to the system, they were offered SNAP and other government handouts. These were meant to be safety nets, not a way of life. If you were a full time community college student, you qualified for both. This great expansion created the need for a union staff to support them, all funded by an infusion of federal money. Trump told CA to get its act together, allowed private businesses to expand and hire workers. This doesn’t pay for the union pensions.
Shutting down the CA economy throws people into that safety net, which is more of a spider web, in hopes they can’t get out. More federal dollars flowing to California to fund the greatly expanded union staff that supports the unemployed.

Not if the DC police and TSA get involved. I attended the first inauguration. DC police kept ticket holders from entering by forming a line behind the “protesters” and shoving riot shields in OUR faces to stop us from entering. They kept closing gates just to make ticket holders not be able to get in.
TSA staged a work slowdown so there was a THREE HOUR line just to get to the parade route. I said “we are going to miss the parade”. TSA agent said, “yes, you all will” as she took five minutes patting down a 2 year old and taking her water baby bottle. It was the most disgusting sight of deep state.

I would not call Trump taking AZ a “flip”. The MSM called AZ before they even counted the same day votes. Many counties are rural, and the number of Election Day Trump voters overwhelmed them. Also, unlike other states, absentee voters tend to break conservative due to the high retired population.
AZ has early voting that opened Oct 7. Voters can go anywhere in the county, not just one place. They scan their drivers license, it’s verified, and their ballot is printed on demand. Not a lot of junk mail ballots floating around.
Maricopa county is the largest county, with the most votes. They are getting through the ballots now.
