I can see both sides. It does seem like an over reaction, but at the same time, she could have had drugs, etc. and you can just let people go around getting away with crimes by using stupid crap like this. I don't understand why it's so hard to just give them your license and explain, hey, this isn't my car, my friend let me use it, I didn't know about the brake lights, etc. Encouraging people to behave in this way doesn't do them any favors. And because the result is so detrimental, it makes you wonder if there isn't some other crime they are trying to hide. Otherwise, why not just comply?

Consider yourself lucky. The Bible says "do not be unequally yoked." i heard a pastor humorously describe it this way - to be "yoked" is from the old farming days when oxen would be yoked together to pull a plow or other implements. Someone who is not a Christian is spiritually "dead." If you are attached to someone who is not a Christian, you are dragging a dead ox around. And that's how it felt when I was in a relationship with someone who was not Christian. Be glad you weren't more deeply involved, and find someone that you can share that part of your life with.

I agree. We have to be prepared to rake back the country if they try to steal it. I'm hoping Trump will have a big enough margin to make that impossible. But we shouldn't have to win y five or ten points to actually win. In his second term, we need to get serious about securing our elections.
