It sucks, but what is "justified" and what is "understandable" are two different things.
Should the cop have shot? No. But try being in that situation yourself, with your own life hanging in the balance, and it's a much tougher call.

In my opinion, and this may be "conspiracy theory" - but having read Whitaker Chamber's "Witness" and other information from that time period, is that we never actually removed the communist subversion from our government, and that the intelligence agencies especially have been infiltrated - basically since inception, especially the CIA. As I'm sure you are aware, John Brennan voted for a communist in the 80's. He was hired by the CIA I think a year after. Why would the CIA hire a known communist - and at the height of the Cold War? So the communists plan to infiltrate and overtake America has been long and slow, to our credit - but it is now to the point where they have gained control. We are being attacked, quite literally, from within and without. There is so much documentation on this as to not even be debatable - but the vast majority of Americans are unaware.
I've been studying up on Fabianism and someone was talking about the "rings within rings" strategy, where you have high up leaders which create working groups, foundations and councils to enact agendas which are passed on from higher up, but the groups are not informed. Then each separate group works cooperatively, in their area of interest, to further the overall agenda, without any of them knowing what is really going on. It really makes sense to me, and you can see how all the useful idiots in these organizations are being led in ways that they don't even understand. So Open Society, for example, funds and organizes BLM, which enacts an agenda of racial division and chaos - but not even the BLM "founders" are necessarily aware of what the true agenda is.
This. And we need to get personal. We need to do as the left does and target their anchors one by one, finding any scandal we can to take them down.

The only bargaining chip people at the bottom have is a lower wage. Once they start to work and gain skills and knowledge, they can command a higher wage. That's how it works. With a high minimum wage, you never get the job, and never gain any skills. If you have to pay the higher wage anyway, why wouldn't an employer higher someone with more skill, rather than someone they have to train?
