Yeah, sorry but snowflaketear's post doesn't make sense. The democrat-run areas will be protected by... what exactly? Masks that do next to nothing? Lockdowns? Conservatives would stay at home/take precautions if there was a true mass-killing plague instead of a .1% plague as well, so there's no advantage there. Plus, democrats are much higher represented in high population density areas which would likely spread a bio-weapon disease much faster.
Maybe such a weapon could be used to create chaos and attempt to take power, but it wouldn't be able to target conservatives while sparing liberal/Democrat areas.
But being prepared for crazy things to happen in the current political environment is not a bad idea in any case.
Interesting, I guess that could be possible, though still would seem horribly incompetent if not intentional.
I should probably do my tests in the biden/democrat subs instead of the Bernie subs, especially the non-censored ones, since a lot of those are Anti-DNC as well. I tried again on the Bernie sub before clicking anything here, all loaded in inactive tabs, the first didn't load at all until refresh, the rest loaded when made an active tab. (The one that didn't load was talking about biden trolls, but one that did load was a conservative.)
Kind of hard to believe the most basic functionality of a business whose only product is its website would fail to load half the time? This particular website being worth 40 billion dollars, and the webpages in question its primary product, and a relatively simple one?
I can't really think of any billion dollar website with a similar issue, even reddit would "go down" sometimes but that was a server and traffic issue rather than a "I guess the code just doesn't work until you refresh for some reason" issue.
Maybe it's possible what you said is correct, but it could simply be the excuse they use to censor and just generally annoy/stifle conservatives. Like they can use an error for plausible deniability.
I haven't rigorously tested it, but whenever the thought comes to mind I go check the twitter pages from a bernie subreddit and they all seem to magically work. After I do that, all the conservative tweets will also work for a while.
Yeah I tried reading it too, exact same result. You try to see what the other side is saying and then they ramble on for 500+ words without actually trying to prove any particular central point. Decided not to waste any more time.
Yeah, that was my first thought - "So... you mean a burger."
But maybe they decorated it with a little American flag toothpick or something? That's about the only thing that would make it sort of make sense.
Americana still sounds like such a pretentious word though, I'd much rather add a couple letters and say America-themed or just describe the actual decoration.
The first thing I was referring to was an actual button on the middle of the webpage itself, not the browser refresh.
The second one would be ctrl+r or f5 or clicking the 3/4 circle refresh button near the top left of the browser, I'm not aware of any difference between them. Ctrl+f5 might be slightly different in that it forces a complete refresh rather than using the cache but I haven't needed that/didn't mention it above.
Is there some way we can be sure this won't just result in massive embezzlement opportunities and a source of money to fuel the corruption and favor trading of our political enemies? $500b is a lot of money to dump if you're not careful.
Might be worse than reparations. Sounds like it's giving the government half a billion for "capital investment in the black community," whatever that means.
Although direct monetary payments to black people as reparations is obviously a crazy idea, especially as they've already received decades of disproportionate social welfare money, at least that wouldn't put the money through another layer of government corruption. Giving $500b to the government to distribute "charitably" is never going to go well, it's going to be used as a huge source of political favor and embezzlement funds.
The counterargument I guess is that this would encourage work and business growth rather than sitting around and picking up a welfare check, but it's going to take a real close eye on where all that money is going which I'm not sure I see happening, it never does.
Bear in mind though that it's a forbes article so not how accurately it does/doesn't represent the plan.
Gonna latch onto your general twitter comment:
Anyone else constantly have twitter "fail" to load? Almost every time I get a page that will says "something went wrong. Click to refresh." I used to spam click that ten times to get the page to actually load, but now it takes an f5/refresh. It always works eventually, but some people might just give up when they see it doesn't load.
I don't know if this is a case of twitter targeting conservatives or just twitter being complete garbage.
We are not at war with China. But the CCP has sure as hell been at war with us.
Their goal has always been to be the #1 world power since the start of the communist revolution, when they starved their population by having their farmers melt down their tools in some obviously doomed attempt to jumpstart their industry. How they even thought it would work, I have no idea.
They do the same shit today by constantly trying to take over and focus on advanced tech industries, but they primarily only succeed in stealing tech from others. The "belt and road" or whatever they're calling it is the same thing, some grandiose idea that they are building infrastructure to be the future rulers of the world. They have the same goal they had 70 years ago, the only difference is now they've managed to buy out a bunch of politicians from other countries and actually had some success with that method. The tactics they use - IP and tech theft, espionage, mass propaganda to start with - demonstrate that they're willing to do whatever is needed to accomplish that goal. They obviously don't care about human lives as demonstrated by the mass incarceration and alleged organ harvesting and sterilization of Uighur muslims, along with the fact that even Chinese people tend to "disappear" when they challenge the party line.
All of these factors clearly indicate a regime that is more than happy to wage a covert war against us as long as we fail to fight back, and all of the evidence available points to that being exactly what they've been doing for years. The American population has unfortunately been too asleep to realize it.
With all that said, there's still a chance they collapse on their own, being a communist country with minimal quality control in just about anything they do, rampant corruption and a lot of their industries and economy being far flimsier than they appear as problems are hidden rather than fixed. But still better if we stop them from screwing us over in the meanwhile.
Most importantly of all, selling us out to China. Getting rid of US manufacturing due to claims of global warming while having countries with minimal environmental standards produce everything, creating even more pollution.
Giving them ridiculous subsidies like the one that lets them ship some packages to the USA 10x cheaper than it is for us to ship things within the USA. US companies will be subject to regulations and intellectual property law while Chinese companies steal everything with the blessing of the politicians they've bought out.
We sold out our manufacturing to China to begin a "service economy," then we outsource half of our "service economy" to India. Policy this idiotic along with the factors you mention will inevitably lead to an economic collapse if allowed to happen. But our politicians will steal all they can until it all collapses.
This is one of the unfortunate consequences of the coronavirus situation. This was going to be one of the first years that transgender women would be allowed to compete in the olympics. It would have been a huge "red pill" moment for a lot of people before the 2020 elections to see transgenders blow out the competition in some of the events they participated in.
Then in 2022-2024 see countries like China say "okay then" and field all transgender teams for 90% of sports and take half the medals. And we wouldn't be able to say shit about it.
We have a lot higher % of older people, and the older people who live in India that could have been killed by a single illness are probably already gone with all the trash, sewage, and biological contaminants affecting their water supply.
But still, as you aid, the numbers are almost certainly wrong. US numbers are inflated by false positives, counting "looks like the symptoms of COVID" as coronovirus deaths, and counting any death where coronovirus was present as a coronovirus death. Meanwhile I can't imagine a relatively impoverished country like India is doing much testing compared to countries like the US, so if an elderly person gets sick and dies, I wouldn't be surprised if it's often not counted - since you know, that's what tends to happen to elderly people.
Many of the excess deaths may have been from people who were going to die within the next year or two anyway, simply accelerated. We'll have to see if it actually falls below baseline later on, but we might not have that data for another 6 months or so.
But as you said, there are also a lot of deaths associated not just with the virus but the lockdown itself, and it will be tough to ever know the exact number of those. We'll probably see quite a few more cancer deaths in the future because we put all preventative care on hold for a few months because apparently we're idiots.
Nah, they would also say that "Biden got the disease because Trump mismanaged the coronovirus situation!"
If you start with the false premise that Trump failed to do ????, some magical process would have reduced the coronovirus infections and deaths by a substantial amount, then you can blame Trump for both his own infection and for Biden if he gets infected.
The crazier liberals truly believe that somehow Trump caused us to have 5x the coronovirus cases. Which makes no sense of course, because long term it was inevitable that the virus would pass through until we achieved a sufficient level of immunity. The question is whether they can get the normal people to buy their argument.
So in summary:
Democrat Logic:
- Trump mismanaged the virus!
- Trump got sick? Trump's fault!
- Biden got sick? Trump's fault!
Got a link to this coughing/event?
Edit: Found it, they sure don't make it easy to find Biden speeches.

He does a show for cnbc, which is comcast. The audience of cnbc is a little more conservative but it's ultimately still comcast so none of their hosts are going to be allowed to criticize the establishment too harshly. He also might have a few wall street bridges he doesn't want to burn.
This was what I thought four to five years ago, but it turned out I was wrong. I wanted Trump and Sanders to win their primaries to bring change to the system. I wasn't worried about the socialism part of Bernie's campaign because I didn't think there was much popular support in America for socialism. That turned out to be very wrong, there is quite a lot of support for socialism in America, which inevitably becomes communism when you give all of the economic power to the government.
You're right that the majority of the left are not socialists, but don't underestimate it. There are far more socialists than there are members of white supremacy groups, like 200x as many.
