Between this and his prior DUI, Matt Gaetz's personal life is a disaster. The guy is weird as hell. He is totally compromised.
Don't trust Matt Gaetz. The establishment is clearly trying to prop him up and inject him as a successor to Donald Trump. He is cooked up in a lab to appeal to Trump voters: A right-wing strongman who isn't afraid to take on the media.
It's all a lie though. Gaetz, as a never-married 32-year old man, somehow "acquired" (NOT legally adopted) a 12 year old boy from Cuba that has lived alone with him for the past 6 years. He sickeningly refers to the boy as his "son."

Sounds like a pretty paper-thin cover-story for pretty out in the open grooming and pederasty. (Seriously, where the hell was CPS during all of this?) How many never-married 32 year old men do you know go around raising unrelated 12 year old boys with alive parents? It is completely bizarre. It is so bizarre, I honestly don't blame people for reflexively down voting me above, because it is just that weird.
The best way to stop a political movement is to subvert and co-opt it. Donald Trump is part of a larger, growing movement in western countries for populist nationalism. It's not just about him personally.
The Epstein revelations make one fact very clear: American "democracy" is carefully controlled by intelligence / foreign interests through a combination of corruption and blackmail of its representatives. They love people with skeletons in their closets. Closet-cases like Matt Gaetz should not be trusted.
