I'll never forget the time I had an epiphany after talking to a co-worker who was a former Army Ranger. He would tell me about how they would go into other countries and deep into villages and train their citizens in the use of weapons etc.
I inquired as to how they did that and he said that they simply paid them.
I asked him, "with U.S. currency?"
He responded, "no, theirs!"
So, naturally, my follow-up was: "how did you guys get their local currency?"
His answer: "we printed it!"
My young early-20s mind was blown...I had never considered the fact that our Treasury could print money other than our own.
Anyway, I guess my point is: I think we'll be successful over these next few weeks but we're going to learn some ugly things about the swamp. Hell, it might even drive some Democrats to our side once they learn the ugly truth.
