My understanding is that the swamp really didn't want Ratcliffe (because he knows what really happened). No way they would have confirmed Grenell, because he REALLY doesn't give a fuck who he pisses off. Trump made the the brilliant move of appointing the guy they hate so they would have to confirm the guy they didn't want. I have some faith in Ratcliffe, but much respect for Grenell.
I think it's still a threat. Notice how she backed off from Sanders and has been complementing Nancy? She's trying to play nice with the establishment dems to try to prevent that. Nancy wants her around because she is twitter popular and a good distraction- but can't have her supporting the wrong candidate. Betting her primary ends in a runoff, so we will see what happens.
Same. Maybe because I'm older, and was always used to voting ON election day, it always feels good to go down in person on the day and cast that vote.
