9/11 was a horrific day and around 3k Americans died during the attack and response (not counting people that inhaled bad things and got cancer later, etc). I am not certain how many people have sued the Saudis, but they still have not settled. How many Americans have died from or will die from this pandemic in the end? The scale of this event is much larger and the numbers of people that would demand compensation from China would be extraordinary. Who could possibly think that China will comply with any kind of lawsuit or if they did comply, who could think adequate and timely compensation would result from it? This is pure bullshit politics from a couple of garbage politicians intentionally designed to make you FEEL like something is being done, while in reality nothing at all is being done .
