Watching this video, my first thoughts were that this year nearly broke him. Not just because of the meds he had to conquer, but because of the sheer insanity at a completely polarity reversed direction from that which he gave us in the past half decade. He seems to be battling holding his composure the entire time.

We're surrounded by evil. But we're also surrounded by the highest good too. If these aren't the end times of biblical prophecy, I shudder to think how bad they'll be.

I worked through the majority of his YouTube postings and am now watching his Maps of Meaning lectures in sequential order, which is an astounding achievement of his as well. I don't think it would translate into an audiobook nearly as well, as there's so much visual content he presents in slides that expand the ideas again by another order of magnitude.
I find it quite fun watching this man do his thing way back before he was well known, dropping some serious wisdom and - fortunately for us all, capturing it all on video so we now all get to benefit from it, not just his students at the time.
My humble opinion is that in a hundred years from now he'll be revered even more widely on a level alongside or even possibly eclipsing Jung, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy and others of their mental capacity... His clarity of vision, humility and unwavering focus has been a cornerstone of my improvement as a person and I'll be forever grateful for his existence on this planet, right on the cusp of what we've all recently been subjected to. I'm not sure I'd have handled this year anywhere near as well otherwise.
Imagining this current timeline without JBP, GEOTUS and TheDonald.win sends shivers down my spine. We truly have been blessed with divine intervention.

A humble suggestion here... his audiobook version adds an entirely new level to making your way through the material rather than static words on a page. I've been through it twice now, as well as flicking through it here and there on my commutes. JP narrates it himself. His tempo, tone, heartfelt and brutally honest recollection of major moments in his life and his often nearly unbridled emotions makes it a journey in and of itself. I recommend highly.
This man saw this year coming. Warned us all about (them) and their completely flawed and dangerous ideologies and the potential for them to metastasise into what we've seen play out.
My life is infinitely better in multiple ways thanks to this man and his brilliance. I'm far from being the only one.
Can't wait to read his next book, in light of what we've all seen happen since he got sideswiped by some shitty meds. What a retarded year it's been...
