Thats pretty much what Hidalgo did in Harris country, you know for the other people who break the law. 50k bail? No bail money?
No problem, can’t take you to jail because of crowding. Others are getting $50 bail, but thats more to do with the woke wanting to vote based on skin color and whats between the legs in the greater Houston area. All judges Democrats but not to worry, it reflects demographics (again with the tribalism). Except Harris votes 45% red so not sure how 100% Democrat judges is representative.

Classy leadership. Everyone knows if the government mandates something it’s less likely for people to comply.

My wife got laid off in Spring 2020. She’s been collecting unemployment ever since, also looking for a job. Local county democrats just making the situation worse with their authoritarian lockdown measures. Of course she collected a benefit she paid into for 10 years working, just felt so fucking stupid her income doubled because muh covid. We tray and spend as much as possible locally to at least try to give back to small businesses.

You need to take care of your own first, so no judgement on collecting that money. Family first and I wish you and your wife a healthy baby in the future. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.

This is the real reason so much rioting was going on in 2020. Cares act added $700 A WEEK to unemployment checks. Thats a lot of money for traveling the country inciting violence and being paid in cash while claiming unemployment. Most states also had no requirements you even look for work, show up in person at the unemployment office because muh covid. Fraud was and probably still is rampant.

Think she needs to resign...

Well technically it’s money the state gives you and the feds want to tax it. Then the feds turn around and give states money depending on how politics are going. Just a power grab.

The US labor force is about 160 million. Unfortunately 10 million of those are unemployed, though do pay (a little) taxes on unemployment benefits, though the Covid bonuses are pretty insane.

Anyway, from the 160 million half pay taxes that have any meaningful impact. The top 50% of tax payers by income pay 96% if all income taxes. The bottom 50% pays 4% of all collected FIC.

Double that number, twice (2 stimulus checks in a year). The other reason it doubles is that half of the people who file taxes don’t pay any meaningful federal income tax. Sure they will pay medicare and social security payments, but not that many dollars in FIC.

I had a simular run in with a Texas democrat complaining his taxes are going up because he can’t deduct property taxes in full anymore from federal taxes. Fucker has 4-5 rental houses. Just proves the tax cuts really did help the lower and middle class and did reduce excess deductions on some wealth. I shouldn’t be subsidizing his property investments as far as federal taxes go, and of course he needs to pay salt as his tenants use local services. It was painful to listen to him whine, he has no idea how well off he is, outside of his TDS of course.

Yup. If kids are taught at a very young age race matters, that is how they learn to think. This is why racially based programs should be banned as racist even if the intention is a “good one”. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

That is why you should no give one fuck about what they think. The left is powerless if no one cares.

I would not trust a federal created crypto, because for their politics to work their monetary policy has to be inflationary. This means they would create a coin that practically never runs out. Those are worthless.

Recycling 1 year old democrat lie. Good idea having those chinatown parties, right? It’s like they don’t have any new material so they need to throw up in their mouth and rechew old chunks.

Because math. You need to look into the algorithms a bit more to understand.

Crypto has the potential to topple world governments. You can’t tax what you can’t track. Once crypto really takes of as a means of trade it’s gonna be a beautiful day. You also don’t have to worry about being canceled by your bank. Of course taking debt will be a whole other animal and probably create new markets.

GPU shortages can partially be explained by production issues ie supply side problems, but I’m pretty sure more GPU’s have been made than ever before. The thing causing huge demand and price inflation is $1400 “stimmy” checks, $300-500-700 a week federal aid in unemployment benefits, rent moratoriums you mentioned. Further now that it’s tax time the additional child tax credits are a nice surprise for some.

Stocks and crypto. Don’t give any value to fiat based assets. Fiat currencies are doomed anyway. Once crypto starts being accepted more widely in trade even governments will need to rethink taxes.

Thats what people say before they lie to you. Same as when someone starts an headline or sentence with the word “No”.
