I walked into a grocery store (St Louis County) where there was an employee posted at the entrance. She told me to put on a mask and I said “I politely refuse to do that.” I was allowed in without another word said. Later, in the checkout, a 20-something asked how I was able to get away with not wearing one. I told him i politely refused and walked in. I said we the people have to stand up for ourselves, businesses won’t do it. His eyes lit up when I told him how easy it was to stand up for himself. I don’t know how he’s gonna vote, but he seemed to have hope in his eyes and said he was gonna stop wearing masks

People don’t realize how much grant money is given to departments. If they have enough to make cuts, then they don’t need grants. If they don’t need grants, taxes can be lowered and given back to the people
