The Demonrats are done. We all see it coming.
A one party system (officially, rather than the previous "uniparty") will lead us right back into this broken state.
So, how about creating a MAGA party, with Donald Trump Jr. (or someone else, if they win primary) in 2024? Will be a lot of DS assets to replace, I think we'd be able to fill the ranks.
With only Republicans remaining, we are eventually (soon or long-term) going to drift right back into warmongering neo-cons at the helm again. We need AT LEAST two "parties" or there are literally no checks and balances left. I wish we didn't have any, per George Washington's farewell address, but that isn't going to happen any time soon.
