During the worship of Pan, the ancient Greeks would work themselves into such a frenzy, and become so violent as they roamed the forest in a wild mob, they were known to surround wild animals like wolves, tear them to shreds, and eat them raw. They also did it to unfortunate humans who got in the way. Of course.
Remember that if you, too, ever decide to approach a mob and ask them to "quiet down". The old fool is lucky he survived. Or maybe not, depending on the injuries. It takes forever to heal at that age, and sometimes you don't ever recover.

For example, my aunt was born in 1930. She will be 90 in October. She recently told me the following: when she was a kid, during the height of the depression, she and the neighborhood children would go swimming at a local pond. No one had any money, but there were a few kids who actually had the unimaginable luxury of owning bicycles. They'd lean them up against a tree, no locks, no chains, and swim all day with the others. At suppertime, everyone would go home, and there those bikes would be, untouched. No one ever stole them.
I repeat, it's NOT a money problem.
