I didn't grow up nearly rural as yourself, but by choice, this is the lifestyle we've decided to live. I've gained tons of life experience by hunting and fishing and just living an outdoor life. Probably from 7yrs old till I started working I had a gun in my hand everyday going on some kind of adventure in the woods or on the water. Plus my bro just had a baby and plan on doing the same.
Good post fren. I grew up learning all these things from very young. Just yesterday I thanked my dad for raising me and my bro in this way of life. If need be I could be self sufficient with not much worry.
