Yep, it's gonna be my next firearm purchase. It's such a versatile rifle that I can see it meeting the majority of my shooting needs outside of really long distances or "Oh fuck someone is in the house!" scenarios.

The problem with leaving it to the state's is it gives liberal politicians leverage in state races like what recently happened in Michigan. If he did something on a federal level it would cripple a major campaign point for all these corrupt scumbags.
Taking away one of their biggest political weapons and using it for ourselves would be delicious.
It would take time and a lot of restructuring to implement properly, but it would be more than worth it imo. At this point it's clear that prohibition has failed miserably and public opinion has never been more behind legalization than it is now. This is the perfect chance to enact real change and really shake things up.
One of my major concerns is the cartels and big pharma and this would be a huge blow to both of them. Legalize cannabis, finish the wall, mass deportations of illegals, and let the cartels eat themselves.
Same with big pharma. If someone has a medical issue and it can be helped by using cannabis then they should have easy access to safe cannabis products, simple as that. There's no logical reason why that personal freedom should be restricted.
Which is why you legalize that plant and take billions out of the pockets of drug cartels and big pharma!

I've seen a lot of lives ruined by alcohol. It really is a horrible addiction and one that's very easy to fall into. A recovering junkie can stay away from heroine with some effort, but a recovering alcoholic has to walk by an entire section of booze when they go into a store.
I pray for anyone that has to struggle through that shit, whether it's their own addictions or the addictions of someone close to them.
