He's trying to elevate his status but he does need to take on the covid scam soon by lifting all his BS mandates. It would be one thing if he had real data and sound doctors telling him to do something that works. But we all know everything the government has tried does not work and only destroys people's lives and livelihoods. When he starts doing that, he might regain some respect.
I've had my criticisms of him, but I reminded myself tonight that the guy "volunteered" 4 years of his life to do this job. While doing it, he tried to create peace throughout the world and didn't send our boys off to fight in some new (or old) war. I have to give him a lot of credit for just that.
OP is right on and like him, I too have seen a few elections. People will recede from politics for a while to lick our wounds and try to return to some balance. But what happened last year was exposed to the entire world. This outraged hundreds of millions of people and that anger will boil. People will start looking at their local and state reps and start questioning them. People like Pence and many other traitors won't be able to do anything or go anywhere in public without being heckled and called a traitor for the rest of their lives. That I have never seen. I've never seen people singing our anthem on planes. Biden's inauguration video on YT has been downvoted to hell where it belongs and they disabled comments.
They won't be able to hide and they will never be able to sweep what they did under the carpet. 2018 exposed a lot of us to their games. But 2020 brought it so far above the surface that the entire world was able to witness it in real-time. Our local and state leaders won't be able to live that down. Those weak pathetic R politicians in states like GA, AZ, WI, PA will NOT hear the end of it. It won't end for them.
Maybe, but I won't give the man who held the most powerful office in the world and commanded the largest political movement in history a pass. I've been questioning Trump's moves for 4 years and I believe the man we saw on stage and in front of camera's fighting the media is also the same guy behind closed doors. I think there were two different people the whole time. We never saw the "You're Fired" guy.
I think you're right. This is going to boil for some time. Probably over 100 million people or more are down right pissed. R's and probably most D voters know that the election was a fraud and stolen. The ENTIRE world knows and saw it.
People will start showing up at their city council meetings, county board and school board meetings and calling these people out. They'll start to pay more attention because what happened won't be forgotten. In 2016 and 2018, we knew the D's were playing a lot of games in the elections but it was never really brought to the surface of the collective. I don't see this going away. People will recede from politics for a while to lick their wounds, but that energy will come back.
I've seen here on TDW that Trump has been "poll testing" whether to pardon Assange and maybe even Snowden. If true, why would he have to poll test that? If he had courage, and we will really know by tomorrow, he would know that pardoning them would be a big FU to the Rinos, Obama and Bush. Anything that does that would automatically have overwhelming support from MAGA.
I think she was shocked by what was happening inside Trump's own circle. Just after the election, folks said she came out of the WH looking pissed off. Then after the 6th in her press conference, it was scripted and she didn't look the way she usually does. Hair wasn't made up and she didn't fire back with the usual facts. This to me was a sign that Trump's "team" betrayed him or that Trump himself turned. I think she'll be happy to leave that place and go on to better things.
Exactly. Even though we can point out the many good things he's done, not taking that risk to go all out and save our nation completely erases everything good he's done. His number 1 job was to protect the country and failing that, he has failed as a president.
