What we still have here in the US is individual states with our own governments. Many of these states are fighting back and all elections both local, all the way up to federal are won and lost at the local precinct level. People are awake and are very pissed off. AG's in many red states along with legislatures are going after people engaged in election fraud. The D's exposed everything this past election.

True this. They never documented or proved that an asymptomatic passed it on to someone else. But then they also said at the very beginning that masks are ineffective and wouldn't stop it. That's why they pushed common sense things early on like washing hands, avoid touching your face and eyes and staying home if you're actually sick. Some also said quarantines only work when the breakout is isolated to a very small area. Once it's out in the wild, quarantines and lockdowns will have no effect. At that point, the virus has to run its course and only herd immunity will exterminate it for good.

I see them all the time taking walks outdoors by themselves.

Costco! Implemented a mask mandate well before there were any state or local government mandates in place.

This. Go on any city webpage in TX and they talk about mandates and specifically reference the governor's orders as a basis for their own. They all have to re-evaluate that and will have to answer to the local population to justify it. Abbott removing those mandates completely takes the foundation away from them.

Many of them are basing their restrictions and mandates right off of Abbott's orders. They refer to his orders as justification to do their own. Now with those lifted, they will need to re-evaluate those ordinances. It will take a little time, but I think it will happen. People are so tired of this shit.

Our red legislature fought him from Day 1 when he implemented all those mandates back in the summer. He refused to listen to them or allow them to hold a session. They even failed lawsuits against him, a "fellow" Republican, and it had no effect until this freeze fiasco. Now he's trying to win back the state. If he gets really aggressive against the dems, the Biden regime and takes the state in the right direction QUICKLY, he might be able to salvage his career, but he's got to be willing to take a stand like Desantis and Noem.

Abbott saw this coming after the freeze fiasco. He knew his mandates were unpopular with most Texans but he bought into all of it. I sure hope we have some good options to primary him.

I remember those and even as a little kid I would ask myself and others how that desk was going to keep me safe from a nuclear bomb?

They're VERY concerned about transmitting the Rona aren't they? It's never been about that. It's only been about 2 things... Getting rid of Trump and Submission.

I should've clarified "down-ballot" voting. I will scrutinize my vote carefully from now on, ESPECIALLY during primaries. I will never just allow the D's to go unchallenged, but rino's have to pay a price. They need to get the boot however we make that happen.

That's a fact. Many cities created their own ordinances to mandate them and grant their own police departments to enforce it via citations. If you look at some of their city webpages, they will cite the governor's mandate in justification for doing their ordinances. So in essence, it all falls back on him. Once he lifts this bullshit, a lot of places around the state will stop the BS. I live outside of Austin and the mask obsession is crazy all over here.

There's got to be thousands of based Pro-Trump attorneys out there who would love to get up there and jam this sham down their throats.

Crowder did a bit on his main lawyer talking on the floor yesterday. The guy was awful. This is what I still can't understand about Trump. When people say his hands were tied regarding his cabinet picks, maybe true, but I've always had my doubts. His pick of his lawyers for both the election fraud and now this signals a big problem in his handling of personnel.

Salty Cracker did a bit about how this Super Bowl was the lowest rated since 1969. Even then, the idea that they may have Dominion'd those ratings numbers is a possibility. I'll bet it was worse than they will report. I imagine many people turned it on just to see what they're doing, then the first woke BS that hit their screens was enough for them to tune out.

Yep, and we still have lots of patriots who still belong to reddit and twitter. They go there to scout, troll and redpill. I do want to see the NFL and CBS have the lowest rated SB ever and I think they will, but I also see the value of enemy intel.

That POS will never get my vote. He's just like every cowardly Rino we see every day. Talks it up to make himself sound tough, then cowers as soon as some liberal Texas rags and the local Austin media start doing hit stories on him. With all the red Texas voted into the state this year, you'd think he would get a hint.
