No, the concept is it would be on the user side. We kind of have something like already, as you can already flair posts and filter by flair to only see memes, news, etc. That user is essentially asking for more filtering options, in their case a filter that would only show “mom appropriate” posts. We also sort of have that already - you can mark your posts NSFW (Not Safe For Work) but that doesn’t really cover spicy language as the user is asking for. In short though, it would only effect what the user sees, not what you are able to post, and it would certainly be toggleable by the user.

Seth Smith was a third year student at UC Berkeley who was shot in the back of the head while walking home last week. Unbelievably, UC Berkeley chancellor Carol Christ decided to use the opportunity to draw attention back to the death of Saint Floyd, a man who died half a continent away. In the same statement, she specifically mentioned he was living "off-campus" at the time, implying that the on campus area is safe. As we have seen from many centrist and right-leaning speakers at Berkeley, that is clearly not the case.
Following widespread backlash, another campus administrator responded with this message: "Im sorry that our desire to acknowledge and empathize with what folks are feeling rubs you the wrong way and didnt realize that there is some sort of rule stating that only one tragedy should be acknowledged in a given campus message."

I too am forced to have an iPhone unfortunately. I don’t upgrade unless I absolutely have to, and will regularly go multiple years without updating. I think I’m at about 7 months since my last update now? If all else fails, try and jailbreak it, there may be a way to get it off with that.
