My mom had dementia. It’s really hard when they have to be in the hospital, but terrible to not let anyone be with her. Your situation is on my heart and mind.
The left thinks government should do everything. The right understands that it benefits the giver as well as the recipient when people voluntarily help others. Givers receive a sense of well-being, and their lives are enhanced by giving. Why does the left want the government to do everything for those in need? Because they deny Christ, who taught us to give. They can’t allow Him to be Lord over their lives.

Your family history is so important to share! My French cousins were also in WWII - one was in the French Resistance, the other was captured and spent the war in a German POW camp. They both survived and I was blessed to meet them when they were in their 70s. Both are gone now, but their heritage lives on in our family.
