I'm being naive in my daydreams, but it sounds amazing to me that I could just buy a few acres in appalachia, cut down and glue together some trees to build a cabin, add a generator and an outhouse, and have myself a place to bug out if SHTF. Maybe even get satellite internet (or hopefully Starlink widely available sooner than later..) so I can keep up with comms while away from civilization.
I'm sure some of you pedes are more knowledgeable than this city slicker about the trials and tribulations of such a plan. It sounds good in theory - again for a temporary getaway, not permanent home - but maybe there's a lot I'm not considering. Any ideas?
Ive seen various pics and posts of "just arrived" and i wanted to do a midnight stroll around my neighborhood (abt 5 min drive from the Trump House) where i walked by 6 large hotels. I hoped to see just one guy pulling in with a trump flag, a MAGA hat on a guy smoking outside anything...
Saw 2 ladies smoking by one hotel (nothing to indicate MAGA, but hey theres a chance). One car pulling into another hotel (had a hat but it wasnt red and i didnt try to stare like a creep). Otherwise its looking dead.
So i really hope you're all coming in tomorrow. Ill be doing the rounds again and if i dont see any of you fuckers im going to clone myself and go twice :P
Like, I look at my phone and the date says 1/1/21, but idk, its like i didnt even get a real 2020.

And omfg, he BROKE. There was 2 or 3 secs of silence, a few ummms to fill the time as he shuffled through his script... and there was literally no response. He just responded with
"Oh uh well the reason why I'M voting Biden is because we need to stand up to corporate interests and help vulnerable Americans suffering from COVID 19. I hope you'll vote Biden, bye."
He hung up before I could give a response. Literally destroyed him in 2 words. I really thought he would have something to say, and I could retort with Hunter's international business "acumen" but nope. Talking about something aside from fake social issues just ended the conversation in its tracks.
Anyway just thought it was funny. Maybe those 4 Peace Prizes were worth something after all, eh? Maybe we'll see Korean reunification mediated by Trump and they'll HAVE TO actually give him the prize. But damn it feels good to MAGA.
I know someone who works in the homes of DC bureaucrats and other swampy types. Today this person, well, happened to notice one of them filling out their mail-in ballot. This is a wealthy lib woman with "Science is real. Hate has no home here" signage in her yard.
She ticked the Trump box.
I don't believe it, but if true... could we really be looking at an absolutely YUGE victory? Virtue signalling stops at the secret ballot, perhaps?
Anyway, its just one anecdote. I'm still very worried about the Dems' list of low-energy voters who will magically have ballots cast in their name. When they tell us its the largest Democrat turnout ever, we'll know they're lying. When more votes are cast in a precinct than its population, we'll have to fight it out in court.
But if a sizable number Dems have resigned themselves to picking the devil they know, over Sleepy and the Socialists... we could have a very GREAT November.
