Nobody's turning on anybody. I'm stating my opinion on what has demonstrably evolved over the last year. If he does nothing, as I expect, then he has epically failed us. IF he does something to demonstrate that he is going to defend the Constitution, then I will be the first to jump for joy. He has, literally, less than 50 hours. The cards are stacked against us.
He is not planning to do anything. They are there at the request of inauguration planners. He is just giving them what they have asked for. Listen, I get it, you want to believe that he has the courage to defend the constitution. I do not believe that he does. I PRAY every day that I am wrong SadPangolin, but I fear I am not.

Because it doesn't look like he's got one... Hope he does, but I'm a show me guy, hope is never an option. He hasn't said shit in 3 days, so it just doesn't look good. He has 3.5 days. If he just walks away I will be very disappointed in him and his plan.
He seems hardly scared or confused to me, just standing up for our folks in uniform who maintain one of the highest levels of trust of our citizens when considering all professions. Having said that, the military works for our elected civilian leaders. They WILL act LAWFULLY in any scenario. Not a single one of them wants to fire on US citizens, UNLESS they are endangering the Republic.
