You did the right thing. NJ is not like other states. People who vote in person are only being given provisional ballots which won't be counted until after the mail-in ballots are counted, if at all. I was very much looking forward to voting in person, but when I read I would only be getting provisional ballot, I used a drop box. I know my vote won't count for anything in this state, but I want it recorded for prosperity.
