My mentor and I are brutally honest with each other. We both admitted that it looks bad after the electoral college has deemed Biden the winner. The prospects are all long shots, except for one. The Insurrection Act and the 2018 Executive Order are the only means that seem like a clear win for President Trump.

The signaling from Trump is clear. Just today he said, "...we won in a landslide... we caught them..." and his attorney, Jenna Ellis showed her agreement that Trump has the support of millions of Americans who will not back down. She also said, (and forgive me I cannot find the tweet now) that she backs the President with whatever he decides to do with his authority, implying she backs the idea of the Insurrection Act.

I have also noticed that the right wing media has been sent the message to spread the idea to normalize it among Trump supporters. I think everyone here has read this Macris article about crossing the Rubicon. The American Thinker had a piece on Pinochet and how he defeated a rigged election, and how that was a good thing. This normalizes the idea of Trump using such actions, though not as drastically. We also have CodeMonkeyz tweeting this. The messaging is out there, and I think Trump is going to do it. It is the only option left.

Edit for additional observation: Trump has often said that he looks up to Abraham Lincoln as our greatest President. Lincoln suspended habeus corpus to defeat his enemies. Trump likely takes inspiration from him to do the same to save our Republic. Our Republic cannot survive without free and fair elections.

To the Supreme Court of the United States: I read that Justice Roberts screamed about feared civil unrest if the Texas case regarding election fraud were to be heard, apparently swaying opinion against it. This is shameful behavior for any man, let alone one that swears an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

We are a people of honor, not of cowardice. Placating a mob is beneath our nation. Civil unrest is now far more likely to happen, not because of Trump supporters, but because of the mobs which you fear. What will you do when they are killing people in the streets because there is no consequence to stealing an election? I am thoroughly disappointed.

The American people are good people, and we love justice. We do not fear evil, we condemn it. I am condemning yours. You may scoff at me, but I am an American, not to be scoffed at and dismissed. Weigh justice blindly, for that is what you are supposed to do. It seems that you need reminding.

Legal remedies, Executive order, insurrection act? Am I missing anything? I am ready, come what may.

We must be ready to answer that call for a unified purpose. What we are built upon is good. Our governance has become wicked. Will we let that discourage us? I do not believe we will.

I hate socialism and communism.

With this latest news that SCOTUS has rejected the TX legal case that Trump himself called "the big one" we have received a vicous punch in the gut, and an uppercut to the chin. It is disheartening. I feel the same as the rest of you. I am discouraged. I hate all of this nasty business. Is that going to be it? Are we going to just give in and believe that all of this is over? Is there any reason to go on? Have we lost? It is bad. Worse than bad. In my opinion, Western Civilization may be ending as we know it. It may have already happened. But there is reason to hope.

We still have several court cases with ongoing litigation. We still can keep electors from getting Biden to 270 and win with a contingent election. Anything can happen. We can still fight tooth and nail.

I have noticed that many on here are looking for something, looking for answers, looking for hope in light of this news. I have seen many asking what to do, or what others will do. I have seen some calling for action, and still others scoffing at the very idea mocking those that say they are ready for "crossing the Rubicon" because no one will actually do anything. I have seen many of us hoping against hope that another legal case will deliver us this victory. I am one of those to this moment! What are people actually looking for here though?

I think they are looking for leadership. We have a great leader, no doubt, in Donald Trump. There are other leaders that I stand ready to follow, General Flynn being one of them. There are others whom we can trust beyond only these two, but in truth, the names do not matter as much as something far greater.

That greater part of leadership that we so desperately need is the stiff back to be THE leader. As conservatives, we believe in personal responsibility as a core world view. We believe in rugged individualism as a national value. Why then do we wait upon a leader? The truth is that not every person is meant to be a leader. This is the natural way of things. "Some are meant to lead others, and some are not," we tell ourselves. We are convinced of this as a truth. Because of this we reserve ourselves to the reality that this "truth" portends. Then we wait upon others to take the action for us, and we imagine that we will follow what is good and right when the right time comes. I want for us all to do something different. Break the belief that others will come to lead us to safety, and deliver us, and instead become the leader that we all desire for our movement. Hold the line!

I do not believe in giving up. Giving up guarantees that we will lose. I will "hold the line" without fear of the motto ringing hollow because of that. I see many questioning what holding the line even means. It is not a meaningless coping mechanism. It is an attitude, and a tangible one. "Never give up" is the one of the tangible elements of it. "Do not give up the grounds you are defending" is another. Whether that be a metaphorical, digital ground, or the actual territory you swear to protect, if you follow the mantra of "hold the line" then you will defend your position.

My bigger point is not just a rally of the troops to believe in what we are fighting for so ardently. I ask each of you to lead. The natural leaders will make themselves apparent. They will come forward, and do not hesitate to follow them. Be cognizant of when it is the right time to follow that leader when he emerges. Trump is our natural leader. We will follow him! But he needs all of us to lead. How are we to do that properly?

Use the talents that you have. Those of you with legal talents, inform us of what we can count upon. Those of you with military experience and knowledge, help prepare those of us who do not with what you can offer should we have to fight. One helpful pede linked an excellent resource on how to establish a militia and operate during martial law! I read every word of it! Give us your knowledge of exercises and straightforward self training that we can do to prepare. Those of you that can inspire others to continue the fight, do all that you can to inspire. Those that can improve morale, dig in that much more to your creativity and share your memes. Our memes won us an election in 2016! Anyone who questions the value of that is unappreciative of the last 4 years! Press on! Those of you that can write, redouble your efforts and write helpful articles. We are in an information war! Make the information that you have destroy the enemy!

I have already decided to lead with the talents that I have. I am writing a course for adult learning about why we ought to expunge communism from our society. I am going to teach a class locally. I am currently writing the curriculum. I want to create a grassroots movement across the country of patriots who will teach others the truth about communism. I am learning as much as I can about how to defeat it, and the best thing I have found was a suggestion from another pede to teach others to hate communism.

We must continue to fight no matter what! Do not give in to defeat. Do not be a doomer. Lead! Give everything you've got! We can do this! We already have! 2016 was our greatest victory, and 2020 is still not lost! 2021 will be ours! We own this country. We are the "WE THE PEOPLE" our Constitution speaks of to establish the true power of this country. Franklin said that we would "have a Republic, if we could keep it." We have and we will! As for me, I will follow my own advice. I will accomplish what I have set out to do. I will lead in the area that I can lead. Will you?
