As someone who most likely has Covid as I type this, I can say for sure that this isn't really all that bad to go through. If anything, it was a virus manufactured to kill off the older population and scare everyone else.
Lemme let y'all know how it is. Starts off in the head. Mild fever, and a bad headache, but Tylenol whips that. The Sinus pressure is the worst thing about it. After a day or so, your sense of smell disappears. I literally can't smell shit right now. As a result (because most of taste is from the scent of it), taste is distorted. I can still taste Taco Bell though, which is weird.
Sinus drainage goes into the upper airways and that's where the breathing trouble would begin. Except I'm a healthy 29 year old, so I'm still breathing perfectly. Sore throat, but that's to be expected as this is how any cold works as it progresses.
Sleeping is hard, since my metabolism is through the roof fighting off the virus. BUT I lost 1.5 pounds while still eating, so that's nice. Only on the first day was I too out of it to do anything. Finishing up day 3 and the fever is gone, still plenty of head pressure though.
All that to say: It's a cold. I had one three years ago quite similar that not only took my sense of taste and smell, but I COMPLETELY lost my voice also. That was worse than this.
I've had even worse before. I once had something that lasted TWO WEEKS with violent dry cough and severe nausea. I could hardly drink water. I would sometimes nearly pass out sitting down. You know what the doctor said about that? "You just have a bad cold." If whatever that was that I'm pretty sure is the closest an illness has come to killing me was considered "Just a bad cold" by a doctor, then I'm CERTAIN Covid is nothing more than "just a bad cold."

As a business owner, I can tell you why sales tax is a thing.
So businesses have to pay sales tax on non-essential goods. It's not a tax on the customer to buy, but a tax on the business to sell. To maximize profits, businesses charge the customer the sales tax amount. When it comes to pay the sales tax, it doesn't cost the business anything. A tax meant for businesses is passed onto the customer. I do it, that clothing store on the corner does it, 99.8% of business do it.
EDIT: And on payroll tax: businesses have to pay a percentage of tax for every employee they have based on the amount they pay. A lot of businesses also take this out of the employee's check when they withhold the income tax.

Jobs’ idea was to restrict use of Apple’s software to Apple hardware to ensure security and quality. Gates went the other way, believing that designing the software to work with any hardware was the better idea.
The problem with Gates’ idea was it left Windows with security exploits that can’t be patched, so long as it remains versatile. Meanwhile, you can count on one hand how many viruses MacOS had. Jobs also believed that if people have to use Apple hardware, then the hardware needs to be the best.

RIP... I voted for that man in my first Primary election. Think about that. Herman Cain was the first candidate to earn my vote. He had a plan to cut every tax but three, which were at 9% across the board, for every citizen. And it would have put more money in people's pockets without breaking the government's budget. What's dumb is the Point of Sale system in my cell phone repair shop uses Cloudflare. Whenever these shills attack Cloudflare, my shop goes down temporarily.
