The real issue with the injuries in sports is the amount of painkillers many guys get on and end up hooked on either accidentally or through abuse. I coach a travel hockey team. We’ve had the same home arena the last three seasons, which costs us about $18k/year to rent ice. Last two weeks of the season some new rink manager feminist bitch came on board and instantly starts fucking with us and the other teams. (Masks 24/7, no one drinking water, showing drivers license for contact tracing, parents not allowed to watch practices and only one parent allowed to watch each game, like 45 more things too.)
Anyways we bailed, a rink with way nicer facilities and no dumb rules welcomed us with open arms. Two more teams followed within a week. I’m not sure the original rink can stay in business without the three teams, there were only eight teams there to start. The kids agree that the nicer locker rooms are well worth the extra money their parents are spending. 9/10 are happy with the decision and I feel so satisfied with actually finally being able to help some wokes go broke.

Shit for sure happened in my town. Our park has a baseball field in the way far back corner. I’ll take the dogs there and hit baseballs for them to chase down. Even that, 100 actual yards from the closest person, I had the police called on me and had to leave. This was at 2pm on a weekday.
There is a national park about 5 miles from my old house. There is no gate, fence, checkpoints or fees to go in there, but there are normally different types of employees around. Last summer it was closed during covid lockdown, many people went in anyways to hike and relax. Once the local libs found out people were enjoying the closed park, they started calling the police non stop. Then went insane all over the local Facebook group because the police refused to go into the national park and kick out the “trespassers.”
