It's PR management, but I really wish Trump said something more hopeful, like "We will make the Democrats hold responsibility for this plandemic" or some shit like that.

If we can only get the rioters to target Twitter HQ instead of burning down federal buildings, that would be great.

Hell, I'd cheer them on.

California Government is filled with TRAITORS.

I genuinely wish so many governors got arrested right now, because ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. California can EASILY turn purple if Republicans actually DID something in this state.

It's those damn fries.

The fries in burger king are so salty that I have dry ceiling on my mouth after I'm done.

In this case, I see it as both.

Trump is sticking to his ideals, but the benefits of blaming the democrats for their failure and using this as political ammunition is also there.

However, what I am genuinely worried about is what if this effect would show the opposite in that it makes Trump look weaker. I know Trump has a plan, but the thing is that while I respect the man, I feel like there needs to be a balance. Federal government needs to be above state government, in terms of matters such as upholding the constitution or clear-cut federal only matters such as border security or leading the country for foreign diplomacy...

It's hard to balance, as too much federal power = mass abuse, while too little federal oversight and we have states blatantly disregarding the constitution.

Trump, compared to FDR and every president post Great Depression has been the first president where he's been trying to limit overreach of the federal government, cutting federal power and letting states do as they please. However, while i do feel like that states should have the power to address their own issues, the problem is that while I respect Trump for wanting to let states do as they do, one thing I will criticize Trump over is how he's willing to stick by this at the extent of the people living in the states. I get that if Trump sends in federal troops, then the media will criticize him for being a dictator, but the thing is that the media will always criticize him no matter what. I also get that if the democrats fail, then Trump can balme them for their incompetence, but my point is that none of this would have been necessary if Trump was a bit more forceful at this time. I respect that he respects the governer's right to rule, but the problem arises when state governers use the crisis to suppress rights, as seen with the COVID-Plandemic. That's the main issue with Trump, and I feel like this is his greatest weakness in 2020: He's too nice. He's willing to put up with this to keep up with his ideals, but there is a time when such ideals will bite him, and I feel that this is the one issue that Trump needs to say "I am pro-state rights, but enough is enough". If Trump was president in a less politically divisive time, he would be a perfect president, but now is not the time to hold such ideals when the opposition is blatantly using this to subvert American values.

Trump, make an executive order to open the states already!

State governors are using this virus hoax to suppress our rights and prevent us from living basic lives.

I respect Trump for wanting to limit the federal government's overreach and give power to the states to control this plandemic, but NOW IS NO LONGER THE TIME TO ARGUE "MUH STATES RIGHTS". Now it's the time to make Americans go back to work, get our kids in schools, and start LIVING NORMALLY AGAIN. The States have failed to follow our constitution, so the federal government needs to step in.

Seriously. At this point, it's no longer about States Rights. As much as I respect Trump in trying to let the states "do as they do", the federal government needs to step in if states are using this plandemic to suppress our rights.

The infuriating shit is that I know a lot of people who joke about Ebola or SARS or Zika or whatever the trend of Virus of the Year and now COVID comes and "OH NO WE CANT JOKE ABOUT IT ANYMORE"

Fucking hypocrites, all of them.

The problem is, at least in my state, that our officials aren't even working in our favor despite us yelling at them.

We're trying, but at this point, I feel this is when the feds need to step in. Don't get me wrong, I respect Trump and his way of trying to get the state to do shit, but there's a point when someone has to say "enough is enough".

DaishoDaisho 11 points ago +11 / -0

This shit is no longer about the states rights anymore. It's about governers fucking around using this plandemic as an excuse to exert draconian laws.

At this point, this is when I'm all down for federal overreach. If the states cant protect our basic rights, this is when the federal government needs to step in.

Good.

Now can Trump fire Fa Xi, tell the governers to stop fucking around, and reopen our economy again?

Ha. As a person with Wikipedia Syndrome, you're telling me this old fart can't handle what I call a normal day?

DaishoDaisho 30 points ago +30 / -0

Then tell Newsom to go fuck himself, and if he doesn't then sue.

Seriously, why the fuck isn't the GOP doing anything? If they wanted to take California, they could have easily done it if they actually gave a shit.

3
DaishoDaisho 3 points ago +3 / -0

We've been trying, but the problem is that we're effectively shut down by illegals and vote harvesting.

If it wern't for illegals and democrat fuckery, we'd be purple.

DaishoDaisho 3 points ago +3 / -0

Someone needs to fucking end this madness.

Trump, if you can hear this, please end Newsom's manic power grabs.

2
DaishoDaisho 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hey, Trump and Barr, if you're going after Silicon Valley, go after Newscum and make that traitorous fuck remember the constitution.

DaishoDaisho 9 points ago +9 / -0

Now if only we'd have some of that energy up north.

Most people I know are sick of this, but unfortunately, there's still a lot of crazies in this area. I'd go out without a mask but I need to keep my head down, too many literal crazies living here and I need to find a temporary job until my job opens again because I need money. It sucks so much.

The sad thing is that this lockdown plandemic has gotten people so scared they won't even offer jobs. Like, when has it been controversial to look for a FUCKING JOB? If a person wants to provide for himself or someone else in this time while others are satisfied with locking themselves, they should not only be hired, but also praised, not "Oh, think of others, don't you want your loved ones to catch Co-lol-nah, and suffer financially and emotionally for wanting to WORK." I'm a workaholic, I love working. Work ethic is like muscles, if people like me don't work, then we get lazy, depressed, and feeling useless. When the fuck has wanting to work became a political statement? WHY is wanting to fucking work become a political statement? I swear to god this plandemic made people more stupid than the communists. At least communists will force you to do something so that way you'd die faster. Doomers just want you to sit there and die as slowly as possible.

I just want Sacramento and their politicians to pay dearly for this. They ruined a great state just for the sake of politics. Same with the media. If I could personally arrest so many news networks for falsely spreading this panic, I'd do it. I hope that Trump addresses the need to re-open and force pressure on our state governors, and use force if necessary. I'd back him 100%.

DaishoDaisho 9 points ago +9 / -0

I hope so.

We can't keep doing this.

We need to reopen ASAP.

9
DaishoDaisho 9 points ago +9 / -0

Why the fuck isn't this bastard arrested for treason, corruption and the suppression of our rights?

Trump, this is when you should use federal powers to stop jackasses like him from ruining our lives!
